To help with this selection process, ask the telemarketing agency a number of questions to gauge the level of professionalism and quality of service offered. Here are a couple of things to ask and to look for:
Value-for-money
- Do they provide a guaranteed response rate for their telemarketing (any service including event tele-boosting and list cleaning)
- What happens if they do not hit their targets?
- What are the contract time periods of working with them (is there a minimum amount of time?)
- Do they provide in-depth reporting and daily leads?
- Do you have live access to your leads?
- Do you own your script after the telemarketing campaign is completed?
Professionalism
- Where are the telemarketers located? Does the agency employ in-house telemarketing staff or do they have people working from home?
- Do they work on business to business or any type of telemarketing?
- Can they source a database list for you?
- What is the level of training and background of the telemarketing team?
- Do they use your list or leads for any other purpose after your campaign?
- Who develops the telemarketing scripts?
Performance
- How many calls does each telemarketer make per hour?
- Do they have a dedicated telemarketing team working on your project?
- Can they send email information out to prospects on behalf of your client through a CRM system?
